Bill Hedgpeth - Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ChipStack Inc.
After finishing College with a degree in Electrical Engineering and his service time in the Navy, Bill became VP of Sales for a 23 man sales firm for the Semiconductor industry. He then became President and CEO of a Manufacturing Sales company for 18 years before starting ChipStack Inc.
He has been a Board Member for a start-up Semiconductor Company and is presently a board member for a non-profit organization. Bill has served as President and also Chairman of the Board for the Electronics Representatives Association in Northern California and also as Chairman of the NorCal Trust.
Bill is a founder and Board Member of ChipStack Inc. He has a strong background in Operations, Marketing and Sales and a good Engineering background. He is active in his community and a life member in California Waterfowl Association, a heritage conservation Association.
Jim Hwong - Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Jim served as Senior Engineering Architect for Sanmina SCI, New Technology & Venture Division and was responsible for ST Micro Sti7109, 7077 and 5188 set top box designs. The STi5188 design was successfully implemented in three months and highly recognized internally both at Sanmina-SCI and ST Micro.
He served as Engineering Director for 3Com, with responsibilities for all aspects of product development in the USA, Taiwan and China. He also served as an equity analyst for a China Venture Company, where he evaluated the investment prospects of various companies in manufacturing and technology sectors.
He was a professor at Mission College and holds a BS degree in Electronics Engineering from De La Salle University. He completed an MBA in Economics from the University of Minnesota and then on to a Doctorate Degree in Business Management here in California. He is active in every design ChipStack does.
Brad Daniel - Field Service Coordinator
Brad is the Founder and President of Matrix Cablevision Inc. which was recently sold to Comcast. He has degrees both in Microwave Electronics and Business Administration. Brad is the President of Beyond CATV, a cable consulting firm.
Brad has come aboard as our Support Director for the Set Top Box Division where he will handle all aspects of our interface with Cable Operators in supporting their requirements.
